Founded over 15 years ago hollywood bowl has a great track record in providing top quality tenpin bowling. Our well trained and helpful teams work with state of the art facilities to ensure your visit is great fun and safe.

Each of our 25 tenpin bowling centres has a minimum of 24 lanes, a licensed bar, a café and an up to date games arcade area. This combination of fun, facilities, team members and service makes hollywood bowl the obvious choice when it comes to choosing a leisure activity for a great day or night out.

Our History

Hollywood Bowl was first developed in 1989 by Themes International PLC, based Lancashire. Initial sites in 1989 included Hollywood Bowl Liverpool, Torquay, Tottenham, followed by Hollywood Bowl Carlisle, Keighley, Loughborough and Margate in 1990, and Hollywood Bowl Hartlepool in 1991.

Founded over 15 years ago, Hollywood Bowl was previously part of the Mitchells & Butlers portfolio of leisure venues until August 2010, when the company was aquired by The Original Bowling Company. Under the umbrella name 'The Original Bowling Company',  Holllywood Bowl's 25 centres and AMF Bowling's 17 centres have come together to become the UK's larger tenpin bowling operator.
