On 1st July 2007 the law was changed in England to ban smoking in enclosed public places and workplaces.
hollywood bowl was no exception and we now have legal responsibilities to prevent people from smoking anywhere on our premises. This includes the parts of the games area and bar that were previously designated smoking zones.
Similar non-smoking legislation has been in place in our Scottish and Welsh Bowls for some time and the feedback from our guests there has been good. We expect visitors to our remaining venues to have a similarly positive reaction.
