Karting faqs

• How long is the karting experience?

  Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time to allow enough time to check in and watch the mandatory safety briefing. The full experience lasts around 30 minutes, with each electric karting race lasting approximately 8 minutes.

• What are the height and age restrictions?

  The minimum height to race is 1.38m. Full power sessions are for guests aged 14 and over. 

  Our karts are designed to accommodate as many people as possible however all body types are different. If you are unsure about your comfort levels then please speak to our team in centre ahead of booking and we can arrange for you to try out the seating configuration. 

• What do you have to wear for karting?

  We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. Drivers must wear flat, closed-toe shoes. High heels, sandals and flip-flops are not permitted. It is important that any long hair is securely tied up to remain safe.

  All drivers need to wear either the hair nets provided or a balaclava which is available to purchase online or in centre. Balaclavas can be worn whilst karting however must be removed after the karting experience, in the wider centre.

• • Can I race if I have consumed alcohol?

    Unfortunatley, you will not be permitted to race if you have consumed any alcohol as it is unsafe to do so. If our team suspect that you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs then you will not be allowed to participate in the karting experience. Please refrain from any alcoholic drinks until after you have raced however we would love to help you celebrate in our bar once your karting is over.

     

  • Can I race more than once?

    Of course, you can race as many times as you like however our pricing is per person, per race and so you will need to create an additional booking with your chosen time for any additional races.

  • Can I have a karting party?

    Yes! Karting parties are available and are a great way to celebrate. More information coming soon.

    We also offer the option of exclusive track hire for 1 hour+ for your group. Racing can be configured during this time to best fit with your group's needs.

  • How many people can I go karting with?

    We have up to 7 karts on the track per race.

  • Is there somewhere to watch the karting?

    Yes, there is a viewing area where you can watch all the action.

  • Do I need to sign a waiver?

    Yes. Every participant must complete a waiver before racing. A link to the waiver will be included in your booking confirmation email, so we recommend completing it before you arrive. Under 16's must have a waiver completed by a parent/guardian. Click here to complete the waiver.

  • How does the gamification work?

    This is karting with a twist! During the race you'll collect exciting in-game bonuses that can help you gain an advantage, defend your postion or distrupt your rivals. Time your bonuses well and race your way to victory!
