We want everyone to have the best bowling experience available when they visit our Bolton centre. That’s why we’ve answered many of our frequently asked questions below to help you plan the perfect trip.
How Many People Can I go bowling with?
1In all our centres there is no limit on the number of people who can bowl together in a group.
We have installed full height dividers between the lane seating areas. The maximum capacity we allow on each lane is 8 players.
Do I have to wear a face covering when I visit a Bowling Alley?
1Can I Get Food and Drink Whilst Bowling?
1Yes, of course, you can get food and drink whilst at Hollywood Bowl. Food and drinks can be ordered using the QR code on tables and menus, at selected centres, or from the bar and Diner.
We recommend that you pre-order food and drink when booking your game. If you do wish to order and pay in centre, contactless payments are preferred.
Do you have disabled access?
1Yes, our centre is on the ground floor, and has been fitted with slopes to ensure disabled access.
Is there free parking available?
1Yes, there is free parking available directly outside our centre. Parking limitations may apply.
Do you have concession rates?
1Yes, we offer a concession rate of around 50% for disabled guests and their carers, as well as seniors.
This rate is available every weekday before 6pm, for 48 weeks out of 52, including the summer and Easter holidays.

How long does a game of bowling take?
1We allow 10 minutes per person, per game. Therefore, 1 game for 2 guests is allocated a 20 minute time slot.
2 games for 2 guests would be allocated a 40 minute time slot, etc.
Do I have to pay to watch someone else bowl?
1No. If you want to watch someone bowl without playing then there is no charge for this.
Do you have free wifi?
1Yes, you can access free wifi in our centre using the cloud.
Is there a cashpoint nearby?
1Yes, we have a free cash machine within our centre for guests to use.
Do you have a change machine for the amusements?
1Yes.
Do you have play for prizes?

Does your bar show sports?
1No.
Is there disabled parking available?
1Yes, there is disabled parking available within the Leisure park.
Do you have air conditioning?
1Yes.

Directions
Car: Take J6 off the M61 onto the A6027. At the 1st roundabout turn onto Burden Way, at the next roundabout turn onto The Linkway
Train: The nearest train station is Horwich Parkway which is a 14 minute walk away
Bus: The following bus routes stop on, or near, Middlebrook Retail park - 517, 574, 575, 577
