Christmas Party FAQs

• How can I book a Christmas Party package?

  Christmas Party packages can be booked online at hollywoodbowl.co.uk, by calling 0844 826 4282*, by requesting a call back via our website, or by visiting your chosen Hollywood Bowl centre. (*All bookings made via the customer contact centre cost 7p per minute, plus your telephone company’s network access charge.)

• Is a deposit option available?

  Yes, only when booking by a phone call with more than one week's notice, you can pay a 50% deposit. This secures your booking and gives you time to confirm final guest numbers. Online bookings require full payment at the point of booking.

   

• How far in advance should I book a Christmas Party package to ensure availability?

  We recommend booking as far in advance as possible. The minimum notice required is 24 hours.

• • What food options are available for parties? Do I need to pre-order?

    Food is included for all guests booked on party packages (unless you are booking a Work Christmas Party – Drinks Only package). The party booker does not need to confirm food choices at the point of booking. Food choices are typically arranged on the day once your party is at the centre. Guests not included in the party will not be included in package food and drink options, (e.g. non-bowling attendees, parents) but they can pre-order food online at the point of booking, or can order food and drinks in centre directly on the day.

     

    Kids Christmas Party packages food choices include any choice from our standard kids menu. Please note specific menus vary by centre. Please check with your centre of choice for more information.

     

    All other Christmas Party packages (Work, Family and Teens parties) include a buffet of snacks and sharers. Snacks and sharers include: Chicken Tenders, Chicken Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, Onion Rings, Seasoned Fries, Cauliflower Wings, Mac & Cheese Bites, Chipolatas & Cranberry Sauce. Guests booked on to these party packages will also be served sharing nachos on the lane during the game.

  • When will my food be served?

    This varies by package type and may be changeable on the day. Kids Christmas Party packages will have food served at the lanes. Work, Family and Teens Christmas Party packages will have food served after the game (if your package includes nachos, these are served during the game at the lanes. Snacks and Sharers are served after the game finishes.)

  • When will my drinks be served? Do I need to pre-order?

    Drink(s) voucher will be provided upon arrival for each paying guest included in the Christmas Party package that you have booked. One voucher = one drink. The amount of drink vouchers given out will depend on the Christmas Party package you have booked. To redeem your voucher(s), this can be done at the bar area in centre or by ordering from a Lane Host on the day. All vouchers must be handed in to a Team Member to exchange for a drink.

     

    Standard drink includes: Any Draught lager, Ale or cider, 175ml glass of wine (Red, White or Rose), any bottle of beer or cider, any non premium spirit & mixer, any Soft Drink or medium hot beverage. Standard spirits include Smirnoff, Jack Daniels, Bells, Southern Comfort, Courvoisier, Barcardi, Captain Morgan, Morgan Spiced, Gordans, Gordans Pink/Lemon, Martini, Jagermiester, Tequila Jose Gold, Tequila Rose, Archers, Ameretto, Baileys, Malibu or Sambuca.

     

    Premium drink includes: Any Draught lager, Ale or cider, 175ml glass of wine (Red, White or Rose), a glass of prosecco, any bottle of beer or cider, any premium spirit & mixer, any Soft Drink, any cocktail from the menu or medium hot beverage. Spirits include Smirnoff, Jack Daniels, Bells, Southern Comfort, Courvoisier, Barcardi, Captain Morgan, Morgan Spiced, Gordans, Gordans Pink/Lemon, Martini. Jagermiester, Tequila Jose Gold, Tequila Rose, Archers, Ameretto, Baileys, Malibu or Sambuca.

  • What is the minimum and maximum number of guests for a party?

    Kids and Teens Christmas Party packages each require a minimum of six players.

    Family Christmas Party packages require a minimum of four players.

    Work Christmas Party packages require a minimum of ten players.

    The maximum varies by centre. Please contact your local centre for exact limits.

  • How long does my game last for?

    Our Kids and Teens Christmas parties include one hour of bowling at the lanes. Guests are welcome to stay in the centre longer than this time, but the game itself it limited to one hour.

    Our Work and Family Christmas Packages include two games, which last approximately 10 minutes per person, per game for a maximum of eight people per lane.

  • What are arcade prize tickets?

    Arcade prize tickets will be given out as part of qualifying Christmas Party packages (Kids+ Christmas Party, Teens+ Christmas Party and Premium Family Christmas Party packages). These will need to be exchanged via a ticket feeder in our amusement area of the centre for a Play4Prizes voucher, which can be redeemed at our Play4Prizes kiosk at reception. Arcade tickets are only included for under 16s booked on to the previously mentioned Christmas Party packages.

  • Is the free game voucher for bowling or arcade games?

    The free game voucher is for one game of bowling, for one person. The free game voucher is valid for 3 months from the date of issue and can only be redeemed at the issuing centre. Redemption on the same day is at the centre's discretion.

  • Is open-toed footwear prohibited?

    All open-toed footwear - including Crocs and sliders - is not allowed for safety reasons. Guests can wear their own shoes if they are flat and closed-toed.

  • Is there a cancellation policy?

    There is a no cancellation policy. If you cannot attend, you may reschedule your booking to a new date or time (subject to availability) within 12 months of the original booking date.

  • Is open-toed footwear prohibited?
