We want everyone to have the best bowling experience available when they visit our Birmingham Resorts World centre. That’s why we’ve answered many of our frequently asked questions below to help you plan the perfect trip.

How Many People Can I go bowling with?

In all our centres there is no limit on the number of people who can bowl together in a group.

We have installed full height dividers between the lane seating areas. The maximum capacity we allow on each lane is 8 players.

Do I have to wear a face covering when I visit a Bowling Alley?

In our English centres there is no requirement to wear a face covering.

Can I Get Food and Drink Whilst Bowling?

Yes, of course, you can get food and drink whilst at Hollywood Bowl. Food and drinks can be ordered using the QR code on tables and menus, at selected centres, or from the bar and Diner.

We recommend that you pre-order food and drink when booking your game. If you do wish to order and pay in centre, contactless payments are preferred.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, our centre has been fitted with slopes to ensure disabled access.

Do you have concession rates?

Yes, we offer a concession rate of around 50% for disabled guests and their carers, as well as seniors.
This rate is available every weekday before 6pm, for 48 weeks out of 52, including the summer and Easter holidays.

How long does a game of bowling take?

We allow 10 minutes per person, per game. Therefore, 1 game for 2 guests is allocated a 20 minute time slot.
2 games for 2 guests would be allocated a 40 minute time slot, etc.

Do I have to pay to watch someone else bowl?

No. If you want to watch someone bowl without playing then there is no charge for this.

Do you have free wifi?

Yes, you can access free wifi in our centre using the cloud.

Is there a cashpoint nearby?

Yes, we have a cash machine within our centre for guests to use.

Do you have a change machine for the amusements?

Yes.

Do you have play for prizes?

Directions

Train: If you are traveling by train/bus to Birmingham International Station you’ll be able to get to us via the walkway through the NEC. Alternatively, you can also use the stairs or lifts at that entrance down to Perimeter way and follow the signs to Resorts World.

Car: We are perfectly situated near major motorways, Birmingham airport and Birmingham International train station. Depending on which direction you are coming from, the M42 (J6), the A452 and A45 are all nearby.
